The First Daily Lessons Are Here!
We’re excited to launch our Daily Lessons — our first foray in taking the lessons from Equipped for Reading Success and moving them to the online platform.
What’s new:
- 10 levels available at launch: D1, D2, E1, E2, E3, E5, F1, F2, G1, and G2.
- Teacher notes built around Chapter 8 techniques, giving reminders of techniques you can use to teach the lessons.
- Advance groups or students through levels right from the lesson screen, with guidance along the way for levels that need a little extra context.
What’s coming on our next release:
- Levels H-N are being worked on and refined as we continue to use the online platform and receive feedback from our users and testers.
- A redesign of the Main Page that will make it more class focused while still allowing ease of use for individual and small group tutoring.
- The ability to have “multi-level teaching” so you are able to reinforce One Minute Activities for the level they have just learned and are working to master as you are also teaching the next level.
What’s being work on long term:
- A Teacher’s Knowledge Center is currently being drawn up and will be in an update a few cycles from now. This will have direct instruction on the teaching techniques with video examples. This will also contain other background knowledge and a “Quick Start Guide” for anyone unfamiliar with the program.
- We are working on the activities that promote mapping via word study as mentioned in Appendix D in the Equipped book and integrating that directly into the instruction of the Daily Lessons.
